Ingredients
- 2 blocks extra-firm tofu
- ½ cup tamari or soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown rice vinegar
- 2 tablespoons minced garlic
Seasoning
- ⅓ cup paprika
- 1–2 tablespoons black pepper
- 2 tablespoons garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon cayenne
- 1 tablespoon oregano
- 1 tablespoon thyme
Instructions
- Slice tofu into ¼-inch pieces.
- Mix tamari, vinegar, and garlic and marinate tofu for at least 30 minutes.
- Combine seasoning ingredients in a bowl.
- Remove tofu from marinade and coat lightly with seasoning.
- Cook by grilling (4–5 minutes per side), baking at 350°F for 15 minutes, or pan-frying until crisp.
